Son of JOHN and ELIZABETH
WARD of this parish who was
drowned the 15th day of Sept
1834; Aged 16 months.
In the cold pond my limbs were chilled,
My blood with deadly horror chill'd
My febble pulse forgot to play
I fainted, sunk, and died away.
All means were tried my life to save
But could not keep me from the grave.
