Who died 23rd February 1862
Aged 54 years
"I'v laboured hard on water and land
Through hardships frost and snow
In dismal woods and lonely roads
I wondered to and fro
With my dear wife I lived and died
and "here" my corpse doth rest
On the "cross" of Christ I have relied
for a place among the bless'd".
